The key challenge we faced when we started the project was that it was taking place during the COVID19 period and so the team had limited internal capacity to implement the things we were recommending.
As a result we needed to focus our work on simple on-page changes and off-site work.
We adapted our approach through that time to focus on areas which took the load off the team internally and minimised any resource they needed to use.
After discussions with the client we identified that their key focus was on the applicant tracking side of the business and that this area was not visible at all in search engines.
We carried out wide-ranging keyword research and competitor analysis to find the most relevant phrases for that part of the business which we could use as the initial target of the work.
We then took the findings from this research and mapped it on to the website, along with a selection of technical fixes.
Once this was in place we moved our focus to off-site activity, gaining links on powerful third party websites that drive forward ranking performance.
Our work with 360 has led to them ranking on page 1 for a variety of key phrases relating to their technology solution which was highlighted as a priority at the start of the project.
These phrases have hundreds of people searching for them each month, and the client only needs a small proportion of those to visit the site the request a demo to get a return on investment.
Some examples below of the improvements we saw in under a 3 month period:
ats recruitment – #54 to #7 (450 searches/month)
ats tracking – #76 to #6 (300 searches/month)
applicant tracking system uk – #70 to #12 (100 searches/month)
ats system – #47 to #21 (80 searches/month)
This is just a small selection of the phrases that saw improvement in a small timeframe, which we expect to continue to develop as work progresses.
360 also highlighted that the work had already driven demo requests which have a high conversion rate and are significant revenue generators for them.
